Gold Rush Sled Dog Tours is a company that offers summer dog cart tours in both Juneau and Skagway Alaska. The clients needed a logo, web site, and posters designed. I did all of these designs and coded the website.
The website
The site was built upon WordPress and the base theme I used was Striking from Theme Forest. I added more functionality for the client upon this theme.
Marketing
Using social media and some basic SEO we were able to greatly increase online sales and engagement. I used the quality of the tour paired with Trip Advisor to raise the sales. The 2012 Tour season will kick off with postcards given to every guest who arrives, encouraging them to review on Trip Advisor or join on Facebook.
